Robotic Cutting & Pipe Descaling

We deploy high-torque, diamond-tipped robotic cutters capable of operating in pipe diameters from 75mm up to 1000mm.

Concrete & Grout Removal: A common and costly issue on active construction sites. If concrete, cement, or tile slurry is accidentally washed into the drainage network, it sets rock-hard. Our robotic cutting equipment mills away solid concrete, steel pegs, and intruding materials, saving developers from catastrophic delays and expensive tarmac excavations.

Drain Root Removal & Pipe Descaling: Over time, aggressive tap roots infiltrate pipe joints, while hard water and effluents cause severe scale build-up (tuberculation).

• Root Cutting: We shear through thick tap roots and dense root masses that block flow and compromise structural integrity.

• Pipe Descaling: Using specialist chain flails and robotic grinding heads, we strip away rust, encrustation, and heavy scale from cast iron and clay pipes, restoring them to their original hydraulic capacity.

Failed Liner & Obstruction Retrieval: If a previous contractor has installed a CIPP liner incorrectly, or if a drain rod has snapped and become wedged in the line, our robo cutting units can grind out the failed material and clear the obstruction safely.

Lateral Reinstatement: After a successful trenchless relining operation, the connections to lateral branch pipes are covered by the new liner. We use our precise robotic cutters to accurately re-open these lateral connections from within the newly lined pipe, restoring full network flow.
