To maintain our reputation as a Tier 1 infrastructure partner, we demand the same rigorous standards from our supply chain as we do from ourselves. We build long-term partnerships defined by safety, technical assurance, and shared values.
We view our supply chain as an extension of our own operations. We do not just hire subcontractors; we collaborate with businesses that share our vision for operational excellence.
We actively engage with specialist contractors and local suppliers to ensure our projects contribute to sustainable economic growth. In return, we offer fair payment terms, collaborative planning, and the opportunity to work on prestigious national contracts.
To be approved as a vendor or subcontractor, you must demonstrate compliance in the following four key areas:
We operate a zero-compromise approach to safety.
Accreditation: Partners must hold a valid SSIP accreditation (e.g., CHAS, Constructionline, or SafeContractor).
Competence: All site operatives must hold valid CSCS/CPCS/NPORS cards appropriate to their trade and task.
Insurance: You must carry adequate Public Liability and Employers Liability insurance (minimum indemnity limits confirmed upon application based on package risk).
We prioritise partners who actively support the communities we work in.
Local Labour: We expect partners to champion local recruitment and, where possible, offer apprenticeships to upskill the workforce.
SME Engagement: We actively seek to build resilience in the local economy by integrating regional SMEs into our project delivery teams
We are committed to achieving Net Zero and managing our indirect (Scope 3) emissions.
Carbon Reporting: We favour partners who can provide transparent data on their carbon footprint and fuel usage.
Waste Hierarchy: You must adhere to our “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” policy, ensuring zero avoidable waste goes to landfill.
Innovation: We encourage the adoption of low-carbon technologies and alternative fuels.
We hold a zero-tolerance approach to unethical labour practices.
Right to Work: You must demonstrate robust checks to ensure all personnel have the legal right to work in the UK.
Modern Slavery: You must verify compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and adhere to our Supply Chain Code of Conduct.
Fairness: We expect all partners to promote diversity and inclusion within their own workforce.
We rigorously vet all new partners to ensure compliance and financial stability.
